The “Windrad Kit” is a small DIY project designed for events and workshops, where participants can build their own tiny, electrically powered pinwheel. It’s a simple, hands-on activity that introduces beginners to the basics of an electric circuit while assembling some lightweight structural parts.
The idea started when we received a large donation of small motors, pinwheel blades and battery holders... and weren’t quite sure how to use them. So we designed a simple laser-cut frame that brings these parts together. With just a bit of hot glue and a few zip ties, anyone can put together a fun little windmill that spins and shines.
