Plenum
The Plenum is a regular meeting of all people involved with the space to talk about things and decide stuff.
If you have any topics to add, go right ahead! Please sign your points with your name (by adding a "--~~~~" after your text).
After the Plenum, please follow the tasks outlined in Cycling the Plenum to archive the discussion.
Preamble
- The Plenum is an institution to decide what the space should look like, physically and in other ways, such as virtually.
- Things concerning the space should be discussed at a plenum.
- Everyone on-site can participate in that process, member or otherwise.
- Everyone can lead a plenum; no need for board members to do that.
- Topics should ideally be announced on the Plenum wiki page beforehand.
- The Plenum should be held in a language that everyone participating understands.
- Scheduling: Second Thursday of the month at 8 pm and the last Sunday after the cleanup (which starts at 11 am)
- Plenums should be no longer than 90 minutes.
Next Plenum: Thursday, January 11th

Projects & Groups update
This is a quick update from group meetings at our space or other long-term space projects (e.g., Lasercutter, CNC, etc.)
3D Printers
- New PEI Sheet for Sidewinder X2 arrived.
- Some infos on the wiki have been added regarding the printers. The info boxes have been updated to show directly the build-volume and the nozzle-size and -type. An info about the damaged PEI sheet of the Sidewinder has been added. The Prusa i3 site contains now infos on how to select the right PEI sheet.
- A card reader (incl. USB cable) has been put on the 3D printer shelf for the Prusa i3 (it's labeled too).

Introduction course corner
On the CNC beginner intro course we had the situation that we didn't have a big screen to show the keynote properly to the attendees, so we used the small Laptop screen. Alex also shows in his intro course the laser-cutter presentation on his Laptop.
Idea: Mount a big screen on the wall at the electronics corner (see picture). This corner is perfect that 5 people can stand around it, everyone can see the screen and additionally a machine (CNC mill, 3D printer, etc.) can be placed on the table. Either a screen from the lab can be used or maybe someone has a big spare one (Robert mentioned something like this). It could be necessary to buy a VESA wall mount for this. --Phier (talk) 00:51, 6 January 2024 (CET)
Energy costs measurement
We want to measure the energy costs of the Lab before the city activates the energy meter.
What are the next steps to do?
Proposal: Buy all materials which are necessary for the measurement (e.g. Shelly EM + 120A Clamp) and look for an electrician company which can do the installation (necessary due to legal liability). --Phier (talk) 15:39, 7 January 2024 (CET)

Say Thank you
- Hugo for taking the plastic/packaging trash to Leonrodplatz recycling point.
- Robert, Yichen and Aaron for helping with the 3D printer shelf modification.
- Yichen for putting all infos about the CNC 3020 Pro Max onto the wiki page.
MiniJobs
If you want to be mentioned at the previous section as well, one of the easiest ways is to take one of our MiniJobs. This is a great way to participate in the Munich Maker Lab e.V. and contributing time helps keeping our space in a good shape. You can find all information about the scope of the available jobs on MiniJobs.

Things to Buy
- Single switchable multi socket for the 3D printers. It will be mounted at the side of the shelf so the printers can be easily switched on. So one doesn't have to reach behind the printers to switch it on. 25,-€ --Phier (talk) 12:34, 2 January 2024 (CET)

- On the CNC beginner course each attendee should mill a logo into an acrylic glass. Until December we have 11 CNC courses with max. 5 attendees so we would need 55 acrylic pieces.
Yichen found a cheap seller on eBay where one piece cost 0,97 €. This would be 53,35 € in total. TBD: Buy all needed pieces at once or multiple batches? --Phier (talk) 12:18, 9 January 2024 (CET)
