The Plenum is a regular meeting of all people involved with the space to talk about things, and decide stuff.

If you have stuff to add, go right ahead! Please sign your points with your name (by adding a "--~~~~" after your text).

Preamble

  • The Plenum is an institution to decide on what the space should look like, physically and in other ways, such as virtually.
  • Things concerning the space should be discussed at a plenum.
  • Everyone who's there can participate in that process, member or otherwise.
  • Everyone can head a plenum, no need for board members to do that.
  • Topics should ideally be announced on the Plenum wiki page beforehand
  • The Plenum should be held in a language that everyone participating understands.
  • Scheduling: second Thursday of the month at 8pm and last Sunday at 11am

Next Plenum: Thu, November 14th at 8pm.

Topics for the Plenum

What are you currently working on?

Tell everyone about your current projects and stuff you've done for the space

Say Thank you

Let's say thank you to those who did some awesome stuff for the space since the last plenum

  • Everyone who is working/planing/politics/etc. on the new space

Stuff from the past

What was discussed at the last Plenum? What's the current status of those things? 20191027 Plenum

Anything you don't feel comfortable within the space? What would you like to change or to be changed?

Is there anything that's bothering you?

new T-Shirts

Are people interested in ordering a new batch of T-Shirts? If (enough) yes, I would organise that and create a new design. Proposed concept:

  • no name prints
  • order a bunch of them, past orders show this distribution:
    • 15 XL
    • 20 L
    • 20 M
  • All of them in blue

--Tarwin (talk) 09:58, 14 November 2019 (CET)

  • still a few left, anyone interested

The new space

Update on the bureaucratics: lease, administration, etc.

  • transfer of the maintenance to the MGH is delayed until at least march
  • first inspection of the new room has been done
    • heating is an ongoing topic
    • in contact with the MGH, regarding the metal edges of the pit
    • roof
  • the new, now indefinite, lease is signed
  • the cost is approx. 1500, including "heating", water and power
  • official clearance of the old room is 15th of November ;)
    • extension until end of november is assured by the administration, further extension possible

Update on the space: todos, etc.

  • What we have done so far can be seen in Space move 2019
  • There is still a ton to do so please help during the next weekends and if you can even during the week.
  • We have jobs for every skill level!
  • Next big task is to plaster the wall. Work starts Friday 15th November at ~5-6pm and then fill the ramp with gravel and concrete, work for that starts Saturday November 16th around 10am.

Christmas Party

It's that time of the year again.

Things to Buy

Things to buy for projects related to the space.

  • 600€ for space renovations
    • This sum was approved via slack so that we can get started with renovating the new space. Nico will show what has been used so far.
  • Construction wood to build a room for the laser and the workshop. About 1300€. We will be able to store stuff/walk on the laser room but not on the workshop.
  • 5polig CEE-Stecker für kaputte Schleifmaschine in der Werkstatt ca. 5€
  • A metal bandsaw - ~100€. We've been discussing a replacement saw for metal for a while, I found a decent looking one for not too much money. --Tiefpunkt (talk) 17:10, 14 November 2019 (CET)
  • Motor lock (if necessary): I will check this tonight: I will try to talk to the manufacturer if they can exchange the old one, as we are such a nice nonprofit association. If not, between approx. 300€ (used) and 800€ (new), --David (talk) 18:38, 14 November 2019 (CET)
