The Plenum is a regular meeting of all people involved with the space to talk about things and decide stuff. If you have any topics to add, go right ahead! Please sign your points with your name (by adding a "--~~~~" after your text).

After the Plenum, please follow the tasks outlined in Cycling the Plenum to archive the discussion.

Preamble

  • The Plenum is an institution to decide what the space should look like, physically and in other ways, such as virtually.
  • Things concerning the space should be discussed at a plenum.
  • Everyone on-site can participate in that process, member or otherwise.
  • Everyone can lead a plenum; no need for board members to do that.
  • Topics should ideally be announced on the Plenum wiki page beforehand.
  • The Plenum should be held in a language that everyone participating understands.
  • Scheduling: Second Thursday of the month at 8 pm and the last Sunday after the cleanup (which starts at 11 am)
  • Plenums should be no longer than 90 minutes.

Next Plenum: Sunday, April 30th after the cleanup (which starts at 11 am)

Topics for the Plenum

What are you currently working on?

  • Aaron: Gardening: Tomatoes
  • Alex: Making another Pegboard for the Gaming area
  • q3k: Self-accepting to be a modular synthesizer guy
  • Jonas: Home Assisant Setup
  • Allesandro: Tortilla Press

Projects & Groups update

This is a quick update from group meetings at our space or other long-term space projects (e.g., Lasercutter, CNC, etc.)

Say Thank you

  • Everyone who helped at the cleanup today!
  • German for repairing our vending machine

MiniJobs

If you want to be mentioned at the previous section as well, one of the easiest ways is to take one of our MiniJobs. This is a great way to participate in the Munich Maker Lab e.V. and contributing time helps keeping our space in a good shape. You can find all information about the scope of the available jobs on MiniJobs.

Stuff from the past

What was discussed at the last Plenum? What's the current status of those things? 20230413 Plenum

  • Since the Fuse in the Gaming Corner has tripped again today, we locked out the fuse until further notice.

Anything you don't feel comfortable with within the space? What would you like to change or to be changed?

Sommerfest Participation (Aaron, q3k)

On Friday, June 9th, there will be a Sommerfest of all the neighbors in the yard. Mumalab is invited to participate. q3k and Aaron are organizing Food and a Drinks bar, so if you want to help (mainly on the day of the event) reach out to them, it would be greatly appreciated!

Things for Newsletter, Social Media & Website News

Introduce Loomio poll

Today a Loomio poll will go live: You can decide on spending 600-700€ for the new storage solution in the pit! All details will be included in the Poll text. Please participare in the vote! If there are any questions, reach out to Aaron on Slack.

Things to Buy

  • The vending machine needed a 150 EUR repair. The coin changer's cash cassette was broken because the clamps became brittle. This replaced the cash cassette with a saner one for our config (2€, 1€, 50c and 10c). The replacement costs 150€. --ⓒ②② (🅃🄰🄻🄺) 12:30, 20 April 2023 (CEST)
    • Approved unanimously
    • Note: It was not quite clear if this cost is for multiple parts or just the casset, please provide some clearing comments.
  • 199€ for the spring cleanup (like last year) for cleaning supplies + food + drinks! --ⓒ②② (🅃🄰🄻🄺) 17:57, 20 April 2023 (CEST)
    • Approved unanimously
