20171102 Plenum

Preamble

• The Plenum is an institution to decide on what the space should look like, physically and in other ways.
• All things concerning the space should be discussed at a plenum, if possible.
• Everyone who's there can participate in that process, member or otherwise.
• Everyone can head a plenum, no need for board members to do that.
• Topics should ideally be announced on the Plenum wiki page beforehand
• The Plenum should be held in a language that everyone participating understands.

• Waste: David hat sich schlau gemacht, man kann fuer 6 EUR das Stueck zusaetzliche Muellsaecke kaufen, die neben die Muelltonne duerfen. Severin hat mit Boheme geredet, die wollen sowieso eine groessere Tonne beantragen. Evtl kann Severin auch an einen Plastikshredder.
• Cleanup: done
• Vending machine: wurde neu befuellt.
• Defekt Schild: ist defekt, wird repariert.
• CNC Fraese: unklar
• Public laptops: gibt zwei Stueck in einer Schublade, sind mit Lubuntu.

Short update on our rental situation

Severin und Heiko reden mit dem Kommunalreferat. KomRef kümmern sich um die Umnutzung, Zeitplan unbekannt. Mietvertrag wird voraussichtlich 1 Jahr verlaengert, evtl auch 2.

Toilets

I talked to our neighbors about the toilet situation, and we decided on trying to improve the looks of the whole thing, like better lighting for the area on top of the stairs and maybe seal the floor with paint again. • A wild Putztrupp appears! Es wurde mal wieder saubergemacht!
• Severin klärt mit dem Hausmeister, was mit dem defekten Pissoir passieren soll.
• Licht: billige LED-Streifen + Bewebungsmelder? Diskussion eskaliert und wird auf spaeter vertagt, zusammen mit der Diskussion ueber Linux-Distros auf den public laptops.

Talk about offene Werkstätten @ Quartiersbüro

Teil einer Vortragsserie zu den Arbeitsmodellen hier auf dem Gelaende. Slot ist 1h, Vortrag kann aber auch kuerzer sein, artet eh in Diskussionen aus (siehe Linux-Distros).

Storage boxes & other space improvement initiatives

Es wurden drei Storage Boxes gebaut. Wir brauchen mehr! Eine fasst ca 0.98 qm und kostet 20 EUR im Monat bzw 60 EUR im Quartal. Plaene usw stehen im Wiki. Eine kommt noch dazu (von Nico) und es gibt Holz fuer noch weitere zwei. Evtl mal gegen Ende November einen Boxenbautag einplanen.

Frage: wo kann man die aufbauen? Das haengt auch davon ab, was an weiteren Plaenen fuer den Space existiert (wo kommt die Kueche hin usw). Da scheint es aber keinen Fortschritt zu geben. Ein Vorschlag ist, mit den Boxen eine Art "Wand" zu bauen, damit es im Space waermer wird und man ein bischen mehr "Raeume" hat. Wird nochmal im Raumplanungsslack thematisiert, wenn das kein Einwand kommt, kommt die Wand.

Couch

The couch is broken, looks messy, and has a blanket of unknown grossness on it. I'd recommend to either fix that (as in: someone takes the responsibility of doing that) or we throw it out. --Tiefpunkt (talk) 11:47, 2 November 2017 (CET)

Bernie hat eine Couch zu spenden. Nachdem sich keiner meldet, der die Couch repariert, und nachdem sie lange kaputt ist, wird die alte Couch entsorgt.

Kaizoku Party

findet am 16.12. im Feierwerk statt. Dort koennte zB Matthias' Gameboy ausgestellt werden, oder falls es noch andere Gaming-Sachen gibt die man dort zeigen moechte. Valentin fragt Matthias direkt, Severin schreibt es in den Newsletter. Wer was hat, soll sich bei Valentin melden.

Things to Buy

• Schwingschleifer, e.g. [1] 80 €
  • Nico will lieber einen Exzenterschleifer, weil, Gruende. Dafuer stellt er einen Schwingschleifer ins Lab.

• Proper earmuffs, e.g. [2] 14€, get 3?
  • einstimmig beschlossen.

treibgut

Nico war neulich im treibgut Lager und ist sehr begeistert. Bisher gibt es dort primaer Material fuer Buehnenbilder. Wir koennen als Makerspace aber auch gerne dort shoppen gehen.
