* Unfortunately, we figured out (the hard way) that we are very close to the fuse limit. Please refrain from charging your e-car at this time. During the winter month when the heater fans (etc etc.) are running, it is very easy to blow the fuse. This affects our neighbors, so defaulting to "be excellent" here. --ⓒ②② (🅃🄰🄻🄺) 16:47, 8 January 2023 (CET)

What was discussed at the last Plenum? What's the current status of those things? 20240411 Plenum

* I propose that we have a general rule to not move the big gate during winter season for two reasons: The curtain might interfere with the gate and cause a problematic situation (e.g. curtain could get caught in the gate). Additionally, it is extremely hard to heat the room back up. For heavy things (e.g. when we had to get stuff done at DECO) it was easy to use the workshop gate (and the workshop acts as 'floodgate' keeping the cold out). For getting air inside, it is a good option to open the kitchen door. --ⓒ②② (🅃🄰🄻🄺) 16:47, 8 January 2023 (CET)

** does it stink? Yes, but it’s portable enough to just move it to the workshop gate or even out into the open for operation

** timeframe: we could do something like 2 weeks, sure. In general, I won’t have time to get this started properly until June, or more likely even July.

Workshop announcement from our neighbors: "3D Print for Repair Workshop"
Kommende Woche Dienstag (17.

With the availability of the Prusa MK3 to MK4 series upgrade kit and the demonstrated reliability of the Prusa MK4, I am considering upgrading our MK3 from Terry to a newer version, specifically, the MK3.5, MK3.9, or directly to the MK4. Each upgrade includes a more user-friendly interface and an enhanced mainboard. Notably, the MK3.9 and MK4 offer the added benefits of improved speed and quality. I have already discussed this with Terry and have time this semester to perform the upgrade. The cost of upgrading to the MK3.5 is 279 Euros, to the MK3.9 is 549 Euros, and the complete MK4 upgrade is 639 Euros. --Spacezhang (talk) 10:06, 28 April 2024 (CEST)

The Plenum is a regular meeting of all people involved with the space to talk about things and decide stuff. If you have any topics to add, go right ahead! Please sign your points with your name (by adding a "--~~~~" after your text).

After the Plenum, please follow the tasks outlined in Cycling the Plenum to archive the discussion.

Preamble

 • The Plenum is an institution to decide what the space should look like, physically and in other ways, such as virtually.
 • Things concerning the space should be discussed at a plenum.
 • Everyone on-site can participate in that process, member or otherwise.
 • Everyone can lead a plenum; no need for board members to do that.
 • Topics should ideally be announced on the Plenum wiki page beforehand.
 • The Plenum should be held in a language that everyone participating understands.
 • Scheduling: Second Thursday of the month at 8 pm and the last Sunday after the cleanup (which starts at 11 am)
 • Plenums should be no longer than 90 minutes.

Next Plenum: Sunday, April 28th after the cleanup which starts at 11am
