* The Plenum is an institution to decide what the space should look like, physically and in other ways, such as virtually.
I'd like to add a few notes at the beginning of the Plenum (and all future Plenums) to clarify the role of the Plenum. Let's discuss whether we can agree on those.
* Things concerning the space should be discussed at a plenum.

Projects & Groups update
This is a quick update from group meetings at our space or other long-term space projects (e.g., Lasercutter, CNC, etc.)

Sharing the news?
Vorstand updates
I was gone for about 4 weeks, and coming back into the space, it seems like a lot of things have happened. Stuff has been built (the laser material shelves), new cabinets are there, etc. However, none of that has been carried out of the space, information wise. We have quite a few ways that could have been done, such as the tumblr, facebook, our mailing list, the newsletter, but nobody went ahead and posted about stuff. I'd like to discuss why that is the case, and what we could do to encourage sharing news. --Tiefpunkt (talk) 22:07, 28 July 2017 (CEST)

Rented storage space
Say Thank you
We've been discussing creating the possibility to rent additional storage space as a member. A few people have shown interest (see Storage space), and some plans have been made (can't find them, will link to them later). Let's get this off the ground. --Tiefpunkt (talk) 22:07, 28 July 2017 (CEST)

We can probably get access to one of the towers around the Mirrorball-Plaza. Our idea would be to set up 2+ TP-Link CPE210 units (~35€ each). We also need cables, outdoor housing, mounting hardware, ... Anyone willing to donate a few euros for that? --Tiefpunkt (talk) 12:29, 9 August 2017 (CEST)
If you want to be mentioned at the previous section as well, one of the easiest ways is to take one of our MiniJobs.
This is a great way to participate in the Munich Maker Lab e.V. and contributing time helps keeping our space in a good shape.
You can find all information about the scope of the available jobs on MiniJobs.

The motivation is that many of our plant boxes in the yard are in a pretty bad shape and likely require extended repairs or even rebuilds in the next 1-2 years. I will be likely involved with that and I reckon that the wooden planks could be useful, especially as new wood got quite expensive. I'd label them and restrict the storage to one year for now. Things to Buy

 • I have access to a moderate amount of wooden planks (package dimensions roughly 70x30x30 cm, I'll bring them with me to look at). They are from two old Lattenroste (slatted frames?). I'd like to donate them to the space and store them in the pit. If at any point the pose a problem, I can and will easily dispose of them either at Treibgut or the Wertstoffhof. Total Cost 0€. --Aaron (talk)
