Tell everyone about your current projects and stuff you've done for the space
If you want to be mentioned at the previous section as well, one of the easiest ways is to take one of our MiniJobs.
This is a great way to participate in the Munich Maker Lab e.V. and contributing time helps keeping our space in a good shape.
You can find all information about the scope of the available jobs on MiniJobs.

Say Thank you
Let's say thank you to those who did some awesome stuff for the space since the last plenum

* To everyone who helped representing us during DANCE festival

* To Uli and German for the Feinstaubsensor Workshop
* To Annika for creating the community area survey
* To German for pressure-washing our yard
* To David, German and (??) for fixing the doorlock (dead raspi)

** does it stink? Yes, but it’s portable enough to just move it to the workshop gate or even out into the open for operation
** does it need 3phase power? No, single phase 230V

New fridge
We made a small survey (Thanks Annika!) to get a feeling for your wishes regarding our new community area.

Please complete this survey within the next week (open until 17.6) and state your full name, so we can take your opinion into account.

The next step is a huge cleanup on 23.06.2019, starting at 11 AM, where we will collect everything which is either junk, unlabeled or member's stuff outside of the 2-Euro-Boxes quota. Of course, member's stuff which benefits the space will be properly taken care of.
Digital Magazines
So please put your stuff into your boxes, take it home or label everything you have in the space. We will put abandoned things on dedicated pallets, so you can still get your stuff after the cleanup. After approx. a week, we will go through the rest and decide whether it will be thrown away, donated to other members or the Brauchbar, or used for the space.
As we now have access to a digital subscription of several magazines, we should think about a way how members can access these. Direct access via the credentials is suboptimal, so we should find way to store them at the space. Maybe a nextcloud instance? --David (talk)

I'd like to bring a sunshade (easier to set up as our big pavilion if your only a small group), metal sawhorses and a "workmate" (mobile, foldable workbench) to the space.

Sawhorses and the workmate are perfekt if you want to work outdoors.

Everything will be free2use or course but as those are bigger items I wanted to ask first.

With the availability of the Prusa MK3 to MK4 series upgrade kit and the demonstrated reliability of the Prusa MK4, I am considering upgrading our MK3 from Terry to a newer version, specifically, the MK3.5, MK3.9, or directly to the MK4. Each upgrade includes a more user-friendly interface and an enhanced mainboard. Notably, the MK3.9 and MK4 offer the added benefits of improved speed and quality. I have already discussed this with Terry and have time this semester to perform the upgrade. The cost of upgrading to the MK3.5 is 279 Euros, to the MK3.9 is 549 Euros, and the complete MK4 upgrade is 639 Euros. --Spacezhang (talk) 10:06, 28 April 2024 (CEST)
