The Plenum is a regular meeting of all people involved with the space to talk about things and decide stuff. If you have any topics to add, go right ahead! Please sign your points with your name (by adding a "--~~~~" after your text).

After the Plenum, please follow the tasks outlined in Cycling the Plenum to archive the discussion.

Preamble

  • The Plenum is an institution to decide what the space should look like, physically and in other ways, such as virtually.
  • Things concerning the space should be discussed at a plenum.
  • Everyone on-site can participate in that process, member or otherwise.
  • Everyone can lead a plenum; no need for board members to do that.
  • Topics should ideally be announced on the Plenum wiki page beforehand.
  • The Plenum should be held in a language that everyone participating understands.
  • Scheduling: Second Thursday of the month at 8 pm and the last Sunday after the cleanup (which starts at 11 am)
  • Plenums should be no longer than 90 minutes.

Next Plenum: Thursday, date at time

MiniJobs

If you want to be mentioned at the previous section as well, one of the easiest ways is to take one of our MiniJobs. This is a great way to participate in the Munich Maker Lab e.V. and contributing time helps keeping our space in a good shape. You can find all information about the scope of the available jobs on MiniJobs.

Stuff from the past

What was discussed at the last Plenum? What's the current status of those things? 20240630 Plenum BBQ Works nicely :)

Anything you don't feel comfortable with within the space? What would you like to change or to be changed?

  • The Reciever for the USB Keyboard of the Gaming PC went missing. ChrisB will see if he can find one at home, but please but it back when you use it.
  • We have a waiting list for Storage Boxes and said Boxes are free. Can we get on redestributing that?
    • Germans Box went away - can we build a new one?

Things for Newsletter, Social Media & Website News

3D Printer maybe (pictures are already in Slack)? New BBQ (Adrian has the pictures)

Things to Buy

  • The Velcro pads of both the orbital sanders are broken. Maybe someone mistook the velcro for sanding paper (I almost did) and applied it to a workpiece. Or they just wore out. Currently, the sand-paper barely can hold its own weight and will fall off with the slightest touch. Don't think about working. (Nico lent me his personal sander and I almost did not get the paper off.) Replacements can be had for around 50 Euro total. I however cannot quite figure out what the correct part number is.
    • The Delta-Mouse has product code `GSS 160-1A` and its parts are here-ish. I did not record the TYP number (3 601 BA2 200), so someone has to walk over and look at it.
    • The round one has product code `PEX 125 AE` and TYP number `0603283703`. The parts are here.
But I don't understand the drawings. There are two plates. Maybe it makes sense if someone would take the sanders apart. If no one wants, I will do that the next time I am in - no idea when that is - I might forget until then. Finally, I'd suggest that the velcro will be clearly marked with "NO SAND-PAPER BUT VELCRO - ADD PAPER FIRST" or something. Should not hurt. Chris K (talk) 17:13, 10 July 2024 (CEST)
