Stuff from the past
What was discussed at the last Plenum? What's the current status on those things? 20161009_Plenum
- Workshop for refugees needs further attention
- Second Rollup Banner still not bought
- LoraWAN GW was bought, not installed.
Anything you don't feel comfortable with in the space? What would you like to change or to be changed?
Is there anything that's bothering you?
- Experiments with very thin wire and 250V ist dangerous and really stupid. If someone sees someone doing such stuff, please intervene.
- Sad to leave this space. Sad sad.
Accessing LaserCAD or Slicer Software is limited.
E.g., LaserCAD and the Slicer for the GermanRepRap is only accessible on the LaserPC. One option would be to provide VPN access to the LaserPC. However, currently only one Login-Session is allowed on that computer. Another option would be to move forward with a Windows Terminal Server that could also provide a plurality of parallel Sessions. Another option would be to have another LaserPC that is just providing the same software for people logging in from remote. Anyway, it would be preferable have the design/slicer software available from remote, so that people who come to the space do not necessarily have to use the software from within the space. People could use their time in the space to socialize more with people in the Space instead of doing isolating computer-oriented tasks.
- Progress concerning local installations:
- LaserCAD can be installed in Wine, however it is not very usable when running in Wine
- LaserCAD works flawlessly in a virtualboxed Windows installation. In ReactOS it is installable with the same trick as used for Wine, yet, the program does not start.

Postponed, as Eymen is not around.
Broken 3D printers
what to do with broken 3D printers which dont belong to the space? do they have to stay here in our small room for more than a year? any ideas are welcome --Heiko (talk) 21:46, 20 October 2016 (CEST)
- Solidoodle is under repair since last week.
- Karims Ultimaker needs some love, spareparts should be here. People are a bit afraid to touch it after Karims outrage last time.
- Jörg will take his Ultimaker home (says Heiko)
- Decision: Devices in the space should be documented in the Wiki. If they are broken, they are flagged as such in the wiki, together with a date. People then have two months to fix it, otherwise it goes back to its owner.
Beamerwall
The HuS wants to open their space to us (and gain a bit of space). We would replace the static screen with a motor-screen and shift everything back for 50cm. ... discuss? --Tarwin (talk) 18:11, 12 November 2016 (CET)
- Moot because we need to leave in 3 month anyway.
Auto lock of door
To door was found open again Please lock the door when you leave. The HuS proposed to lock the door after a while when the main lights are off. ... discuss? --Tarwin (talk) 18:11, 12 November 2016 (CET)
- Per se a good idea, postponed after moving
Space projects - transparency (financially and otherwise)
Lately, there seems to have been some resentment about the way projects the space finances are being done. In order to combat that, I would like to propose that bigger projects should be much more transparent about what is being done, and what that's going to cost (or has cost). This could be done with some sort of kick-off mail and a finalization mail to the mailing list. Longer projects might also post updates while they are being done. In a kick off email, people could describe their rough plan, and a rough estimate of cost. The finalization could also serve as some rough documentation hat was done by whom, and could thus be put in the wiki as well. --Tiefpunkt (talk) 13:22, 23 November 2016 (CET)
- Wiki page for "Financial Investments in Projects"
- e.g. CNC Router, Lasercutter, etc...
- Bigger investments should mandate an announcement mail
We need a new place
- Could crisis be a chance? Do we need only a room replacement or do we try to get even more? --Martinho 11:25, 6 December 2016
- Discuss actual options: Exodus
- We need to leave until Feb 28th - Landlord wants to build office space
- Makler said we maybe can stay till the end of March, needs written confirmation
- Current rent: ~800€
- Mit oder ohne HuS?
- Keine klare Präferenz im Raum
- Pro: Gemeinschaftsraum billiger, Miete tendenziell billiger, nette Jungs, gute Nachbarn
- Contra: HuS bringt sich nicht so richtig ein (Getränke, etc), benutzt unser Zeug, Vereinsmeierei
- Space options:
- Martin: Kreativquartier. Feuerwehrhaus
- Vermieter Make Germany
- Martin: Kreativquartier. Feuerwehrhaus
- Severin: Kulturzentrum Gorod
- Keller ~2x 75qm, ca 4m hoch
- Im Moment getrennt durch Wand.
- Stark ausbauwürdig
- Wand einbauen / abtrennen
- Noch viel unklar (Strom / Zugang / Mietdauer / Wasser / Nutzungsänderung / Mietkonstellation)
- kalt 5€/qm
- Severin: Kulturzentrum Gorod
Cellar
- Our Cellar is full of garbage.
- In regards to the upcoming move, we need to clean that stuff up, so get what you want to keep.
Subwoofer in Basement
Buying things
- Handheld label printer --Tiefpunkt (talk) 13:22, 23 November 2016 (CET)
- Rene look in this stash...
- New vacuum for the other space --Tiefpunkt (talk) 13:22, 23 November 2016 (CET)
- Nope
- More tools to work with wood (electric sander, saw - not sure what kind, ...) --Tiefpunkt (talk) 13:22, 23 November 2016 (CET)
- Postponed
- Torx / Allen key Screwdriver Kits ( not L ones )
- ThomasE will get some.
End: ~18:30
