Plenum

The Plenum is a regular meeting of all people involved with the space to talk about things and decide stuff. If you have any topics to add, go right ahead! Please sign your points with your name (by adding a "--~~~~" after your text).

After the Plenum, please follow the tasks outlined in Cycling the Plenum to archive the discussion.

Preamble

• The Plenum is an institution to decide what the space should look like, physically and in other ways, such as virtually.
• Things concerning the space should be discussed at a plenum.
• Everyone on-site can participate in that process, member or otherwise.
• Everyone can lead a plenum; no need for board members to do that.
• Topics should ideally be announced on the Plenum wiki page beforehand.
• The Plenum should be held in a language that everyone participating understands.
• Scheduling: Second Thursday of the month at 8 pm and the last Sunday after the cleanup (which starts at 11 am)
• Plenums should be no longer than 90 minutes.

MiniJobs

If you want to be mentioned at the previous section as well, one of the easiest ways is to take one of our MiniJobs. Stuff from the past

Anything you don't feel comfortable with within the space? What would you like to change or to be changed?

• The mitre saw sits currently on the floor and has to be put on the workbench to be used. It's not very ergonomic to lift a 17 kg machine every time you need them and it also consumes some valuable space on the workbench. I want to build a simple movable table for it which fits in the corner next to the CNC. See part list and costs on "Things to buy" section. --Phier (talk) 18:27, 4 October 2024 (CEST)

• In the "filament for Lab use" box are currently three spools of filament with the big diameter (2,85 mm² I guess). Since we don't have any printer which can handle this I would recommend to either give it to someone (or a service) which can make 1,75 mm² out of it or donate it to the members. --Phier

• Chris would like to throw a halloween party. On Halloween. The occasion is Halloween. --Chris

Storage Box Decision

Ivan would like to rent the lower half of box 6. It's been empty for a while apparently and it currently belongs to an Alexander. I'd assume that that Alexander hasn't been in the space for quite some time.

This is to vote if he can take over or not.

  Should be waterproof enough and significantly easier to press. (Simmarith)

• Parts for the movable table for the mitre saw:
  2x set of four brake-able wheels 64€, 3x OBS sheet for table top 30€, 1x miscellaneous material which might be needed (screws, scantling, etc.) ~15€
