Attention Attention: Dangerous topic ahead Attention
This page is just knowledge sharing. The rolling gates are mainly a landlord topic and if issues occur, please write to general.

Guidelines

  • Don't fully open the gates, to avoid issues with doves, that fly into the hall and issues with the end-stop sensors
  • Don't try to fix issues by your self on motors or direct sensor issues. Just normal operations are ok, like checking that nothing blocks the door etc.

Troubleshooting

Rolling Gate does not work via the control buttons inside

  • power: check first if the fuse box is ok. Fuse F2 is for both doors. Both rolling gates use the same fuse, if one is working normal, the power should be ok
  • main rolling gate: the door in the rolling gate must be closed completely. There are safety sensors, so that the door can not be open, when someone activates the moving mechanism.
  • nothing should be touching the bottom lid. Safety mechanism to avoid jamming something. The gate should still go up, but not down anymore, if lid sensor is activated.
  • check that the fault sensors left and right at the bottom of the rolling gate are not blocked. (compare photos below)
  • check if the rolling gate got by accident into manual mode (rope was pulled; compare photos below)

=> if nothing works and you need to close or open the gate activate manual mode via the ropes (compare pictures below) and push the gate up and down manually.

Known Issues:

  • main gate: If you let the gate open until it stops automatically, the end stop automation prevents to close the gate via the control buttons. The gate needs to be pulled down a bit in manual mode, until the end-stop sensors are not touched anymore.
