You can become a member by filling out this form digitally:
You can do this by opening this file in the browser of your choice, filling it out and then, in the print dialogue, saving it as a pdf again.
After that you need to sign it. It really doesn't have to be pretty, we just need that for legal reasons (I think).
Here are some options to do that:
- macOS (Preview)
- Open the PDF in Preview.
- Click the Markup toolbar (pen icon), then the Signature icon.
- Create a signature by trackpad or using your camera to capture a paper signature.
- Click the signature to place it, resize and move it, then save (File > Save).
- iPhone/iPad (Files or Mail)
- Open the PDF, tap the Markup pen icon.
- Tap the + then Signature, create or pick a saved one, place it, then Done → Save/Share.
- Windows (free, using Microsoft Edge)
- Open the PDF in Microsoft Edge.
- Click the Draw or the Add text/Ink tools; Edge also has a “Add signature” (pen icon) depending on version.
- Draw with mouse or stylus, position and save (Ctrl+S).
- Windows (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC — free)
- Open the PDF in Acrobat Reader.
- Tools > Fill & Sign.
- Use “Sign” > “Add Signature” (Type, Draw, or Image). Place the signature and save.
- Android (Google Drive, Adobe Acrobat Reader app)
- Open PDF in Acrobat Reader app or Drive PDF viewer, choose Fill & Sign or Markup, add signature (draw or image), then save/share.
- Web (no install) — e.g., Smallpdf, PDFescape, DocHub
- Upload PDF, use signature tool to draw/upload an image, place it, then download the signed PDF.
- Good if you’re on a device without suitable apps. Avoid uploading sensitive documents to services you don’t trust.
After your PDF is filled out and signed you can send it to us via email to the email address on the form.
Alternatively you can also fill out the printed out forms next to the printer in the lab. As this incurrs extra effort for the vorstand team and dead trees, we would appreciate if you use the digital option :)
