This code of conduct is there to make sure everyone can have a good time in our space. Regarding the use of the premises and machinery of Munich Maker Lab, you can find a set of rules and guidelines in our wiki: Law and Order.

The Munich Maker Lab wants to provide a harassment-free experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment in any form.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Inappropriate sexual images in public spaces

  • Inappropriate physical contact
  • Unwelcome sexual attention
  • Advocating or encouraging any of this behavior
  • Misgendering

Persons asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a person engages in harassing behavior, their actions can be sanctioned, up to and including expulsion from all MuMaLab spaces and identification of the participant as a harasser to other MuMaLab members or the general public. The severity of consequences is to be decided by the plenum or by the board in collaboration with the awareness team, depending on the sensitivity of the issue. Temporarily, the awarenessteam is entitled to enact consequences by themselves.

Awareness Team

The Awareness team is a group of five elected members which are there to help, support and mediate conflicts regarding the code of conduct. The Awareness team is entitled to take the necessary, temporary measures to prevent conflicts from escalating.

You need help?
