Description | an organ made out of the alarm horns |
Author(s) | Ragnaroek23 |
We want to build an organ out of alarm horns.
Ideal to play sinister tunes like the imperial march.
We'll start with one horn and one amp (unnecessary) to play melodies.
3+ Horns would be nice to play harmonies.
Technical Goal
Have horns play notes, controlled by micro controller with USB MIDI interface. With every horn, more simultaneous voices can be played. Maybe a switch to reduce voices but increase volume (parallel horns?) ?
Approach
- look at this
- remove complexity (and one phase) to get to a manageable level
- Find a member who can play the piano (or find cool midi songs)
- ...
- Profit!
