Holding an online plenum is no new process and we will only do this do try it out during the time the space is closed.

Doing online plenums in the future needs plenum approval.
In case we decide to do online plenums in the future this acts as a proof of concept.

* Would be great if workshops were announced beforehand and MuMaLab members were offered a chance to participate. Maybe I missed it, but it seems the OpenBikeSensor workshop this year was not previously discussed on a Plenum or our Slack. (And to be clear, I totally think we should do it, but it should be communicated better) --C22 (talk) 16:24, 9 April 2022 (CEST)
-it's nice to see the space is alive, butthe kitchen is not a place for workshop things like drilling holes and filing stuff, the gaming area not intended to be used as a Electronics development corner, and the Tables in the community area shouldnt be covered by endless chaos so noone can sit there whilst everyone is busy abusing the afforementioned areas for things they are not intended to. Especially not on an open thursday  -- BotoxBitch --

* Please label your Leftovers in the kitchen either with free2eat or throw them away. No one likes watching your salad fermentate. (Botox)

* Also clean up after using the table saw, or use appropriate dust evac in first place. (Botox)
* People lending machines from the workshop and then not returning them for weeks, not reacting to slack messages. Please be mindful of the tools you take and keep our "be excellent" principle in mind.  --C22 (talk) 11:41, 25 June 2022 (CEST)
* The workshop and yard has been left behind very dirty between 22nd and 24th of June. Stuff was screwed into the workbenches without talking to the workshop points of contacts or #workshop on slack. Special waste (spray cans) have been left behind, same with a bucket of dry paint. We do not have cleaning services and you are responsible to leave the workshop BETTER than you found it (see the rules about this). If you think these might have been yours and you didn't know better, feel free to contact the workshop crew - we always have some tasks you can take over. --C22 (talk) 11:41, 25 June 2022 (CEST)

* If Possible keep the Space entrance free of "barricades" aka your big footprint projects and plan ahead which space you wanna use instead expecting others to move their stuff because you misscalculated the floorspace you need (Botox)

*  Spend 80€ on a Rental Van for a the Move of the guy (Rolf from the Lasertag) that gave us his couch for the gaming area. (botox)
* Also spend 15€ for a new Netzteil for the NES (botox?)
* 150€ for lights in the pit. The old "light tube" has burnout ;-) and it is time to finally properly build it. The tubes are already in the space, but we need various material (cable, motion sensor, conduit, conduit clips, e-boxes) --C22 (talk) 19:41, 9 April 2022 (CEST)
* 200€ budget for the cleanup on 24th of April in order to buy cleaning supplies and replace broken stuff we find during cleanup. We will most likely end up using ~50€, but it would be great to have more pre-approved should it become necessary. --C22 (talk) 12:03, 13 April 2022 (CEST)

Revision as of 10:41, 25 June 2022

The Plenum is a regular meeting of all people involved with the space to talk about things, and decide stuff.

If you have stuff to add, go right ahead! Please sign your points with your name (by adding a "--~~~~" after your text).

Preamble

 • The Plenum is an institution to decide on what the space should look like, physically and in other ways, such as virtually.
 • Things concerning the space should be discussed at a plenum.
 • Everyone who's there can participate in that process, member or otherwise.
 • Everyone can head a plenum, no need for board members to do that.
 • Topics should ideally be announced on the Plenum wiki page beforehand
 • The Plenum should be held in a language that everyone participating understands.
 • Scheduling: second Thursday of the month at 8pm and last Sunday after the cleanup (which starts at 11am)
 • Plenums should be no longer than 90 minutes.

Next Plenum: Sunday, June 26th 12pm
