Preamble
* The Plenum is an institution to decide what the space should look like, physically and in other ways, such as virtually.
* Things concerning the space should be discussed at a plenum.
* Everyone on-site can participate in that process, member or otherwise.
* Everyone can lead a plenum; no need for board members to do that.
* Topics should ideally be announced on the Plenum wiki page beforehand.
* The Plenum should be held in a language that everyone participating understands.
* Scheduling: Second Thursday of the month at 8 pm and the last Sunday after the cleanup (which starts at 11 am)
* Plenums should be no longer than 90 minutes.

: Let's say thank you to those who did some awesome stuff for the space since the last plenum
:* Martin & Jenny for finding the space, and making it possible
:* David for providing pressure washers
:* David, Heiko, JanS, Matthias, Nico, Peter, Severin for cleaning the new space
:* The fine folks at Halle6 for some additional cleaning gear

; Cable trays and lights
Projects & Groups update
: Since we don't have a floor to hide our cable crimes, the idea was to put cabletrays along the walls of the space, at a height of approx. 3m, and use that for all cables. We can use the holders from the metal grids for that. Since they are a little bigger than the cable trays, we could use the remaining space for some indirect lighting, by reusing our LED strips which we had in place at the old space. Any opinions? --Tiefpunkt (talk) 01:30, 15 February 2017 (CET)
This is a quick update from group meetings at our space or other long-term space projects (e.g., Lasercutter, CNC, etc.)

; Workshop
Vorstand updates
To build up the new workshop we have to decide about size and how to build. Nico and Heiko have done some planning which could be used as baseline. --Heiko (talk) 11:43, 15 February 2017 (CET)

; Lasercutter
Say Thank you
* While we move to the new space it will be a good idea to do the often discussed alignment of X/Y axes before we put the laser tube back in.
* We have to build a new filter box because the one we had turned out to be not effectiv enough as we have seen the inner housing of the blower. A good idea will be to put two layers of filters in it like the one we had before and additional a carbon filter to be sure to dont blow any bad things out of the pipe. Also these filters should be double the size like we have had until now to be sure to get enough air troughput through all of these filter layers.
* Also we have to decide where to put the blower and filter to know where we have to open the back wall to put the pipe out of our hall. --Heiko (talk) 11:25, 15 February 2017 (CET)

* Material to build the workshop wall
If you want to be mentioned at the previous section as well, one of the easiest ways is to take one of our MiniJobs.
* Fodder for the vending machine. (ESP D1-Mini, WS2812 Light strips, 3W RGB LEDs, Servos, Displays, Arduino Nanos, ...)
This is a great way to participate in the Munich Maker Lab e.V. and contributing time helps keeping our space in a good shape.
* Letterbox!!
You can find all information about the scope of the available jobs on MiniJobs.

MiniJobs

If you want to be mentioned at the previous section as well, one of the easiest ways is to take one of our MiniJobs. This is a great way to participate in the Munich Maker Lab e.V. and contributing time helps keeping our space in a good shape. You can find all information about the scope of the available jobs on MiniJobs.

Stuff from the past

Anything you don't feel comfortable with within the space? What would you like to change or to be changed?

Precious Plastic Injection Machine

I'd like to bring our Precious Plastic injection molding machine to the space for a few weeks to try to recylce some HDPE. The machine needs about 1 m^2 of flour space, do we have some space to spare for that? --Tiefpunkt (talk) 22:40, 26 March 2024 (CET)
