Tell everyone about your current projects and stuff you've done for the space

  • Benni: LED Controller as always
  • Fabi: Is helping Benni as good as he can
  • Florian: Infinity-Mirror-Clock
  • Severin: Precious Plastics and welding
  • Jan: Planning the gaming-area (#gaming-area in Slack for more info), Magic-Mirror and a welcome sign.
  • Max: Only small stuff
  • Elias: Mofa
  • Rene: CPU Overclocking - Is at 5,8GHz without crashes
  • Nico: New Mining-Rig

Say Thank you

Let's say thank you to those who did some awesome stuff for the space since the last plenum

  • David for taking away a ton of trash
  • David for still taking care of the drinks and Rene for helping him
  • David and Severin for organising new euro pallets and metal
  • Cecile and Peter for getting the donation receipts ready for everyone
  • David for bringing a pipe wrench
  • ThomaE for making money with our old copper

Stuff from the past

What was discussed at the last Plenum? What's the current status of those things? 20180211 Plenum

  • Repaircafe - Severin is meeting the IMAL people in March but. Cafe is taking place on March 24th.
  • Gaming Area - Timeline isn't ready yet
  • Palettensofas - Most are against palette couches especially since they are 80€ a piece. Would be awesome if someone could sew the cushions for us.
  • Metal sheets in the windows - still asking for waterjet -> still call for design
  • Dust collection - Collector arrived in the space but we still need a hose to use it
  • arduino day - still no date
  • Streetlife Festival - Planning didn't start
  • Wiki pages - No invitation for a edit session yet
  • Non cash payments - We're working on it but it's most likely not going to be PayPal
  • People looking for internet - Nothing happened
  • Alarm system - We have a lot of flood lights which we'll use to illuminate our door. There'll also be a motion sensor and siren inside.

Anything you don't feel comfortable within the space? What would you like to change or to be changed?

Is there anything that's bothering you?

Desks for the Space

As we want to close the private area in the space there will be a few desks and cabinets unused. Lets talk about their future use and if they should stay in the space or if we dont need it. --Heiko (talk) 15:31, 9 February 2018 (CET)

Neither Heiko nor Jörg is here so we have to postpone this

Gaming Area

Jan wants to have some money approved so that we can start working on the gaming area without always having to wait for the Plenum.

He asks for 800€ to start with the floor, some paint and other stuff.

All in favor to approve 800€.

Beer tables

Florian wants to borrow our beer tables for a LAN-Party in two weeks and asks if that's ok.

All in favor as long as no more than 6 people dance on them at the same time (to avoid breaking them) ;)

Things to Buy

Things to buy for projects related to the space.

  • Combination pliers and side cutters - Fabi will try to bring some but in case we can't find any in the space we will order one each for the time being. We have 3 abstentions, all others are in favor.
  • Bitsets (2 Stück) - We have a lot of loose bits but we'll still buy two sets
  • Perfboard - They aren't cheap so we'll buy a bunch and fill them in our vending machine
