What is it?

Our multiroom audio setup allows you to play music across the rooms. Please keep our guidelines about being excellent in mind: make sure that others using the space are okay with playing music across all rooms and show them how to turn off individual rooms if necessary.

How to use it?

You can simply connect via Bluetooth or Spotify connect to one of the "Balenaos <number>" devices. This will play music in the main room and the workshop. Please make sure to disconnect before leaving, otherwise, the players may bug out and need to be restarted. You can control the volume using your device or the web interface at http://10.10.11.228 or http://10.10.11.227 (please never change anything other than the volume!) <- currently broken Volume control works via bluetooth too.

Technical

There are two raspberry pis 4 (2GB) - one located in the basement, one located in the workshop. Both are managed using balena cloud and run an image of Balena Sound: https://sound.balenalabs.io/
