A PirateBox that can play audio. PirateBox + MPD + Speakers. Connect to it with your phone or laptop, create a playlist, and press play. I finished the hardware part, and documented it in my tumblr.
Hardware
- RaspberryPi Model B (ordered already)
- WiFi Adapter: TP-Link TL-WN722N (ordered already)
- Speakers: possibly an old boombox from ebay. could serve as a case as well
- Battery
- SD-Card: still have one lying around somewhere
Software
- Custrom PirateBox Raspbian image [1]
